My keyboard and mouse keep randomly turning off. I can usually just switch USB ports, and they'll work again. I thought this to be a problem of my old motherboard and when I finally upgraded boards, I'm still having the same problem. What could cause something like this?

The mouse and keyboard are a Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013 and Death Adder 3500.

Thanks.

1. If you have connected all the above tech to a hub, try giving them their own ports.

2.Check Device manager and and disable selective USB...

Its for something else but you get the gist.
You may also have to go to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" open the tree and make sure that the ports that the same is done for "USB Root Hub" as well as your specific KB and mouse under the "Human Interface devices" and "mice and other pointing" devices..

If it works when you power on then just stops after a while it may be that the pc is not responding to wake events from the KB, mouse as it cant see it because its already disabled the root hub its on(nb. each usb...

take a look at this, seems like you are having similar issues.
However as the issue persists from one MB to another it is highly likely that it is not the MB.
