I am new to these forums and am not sure if this is the right section. I do not know if there is a Q&A area, and would appreciate any moderator moving this thread to the appropriate area.
I have had this problem after the last windows 8.1 update.
All other desktop software runs smooth, and as intended, but everytime I try to open an app, it simply shows a black screen and back to the desktop.
A solution I found was to booth in safe mode.
When boothing back to normal status, the problem disappears but after a few turning on and off the problem is back.
This is what happens when I try to open the alarm app: (happens with all apps)
