My laptop only shows my Linksy Router but nothing else, everything was perfect but all of a sudden all other wifi connections disappeared (Even my home modem that the Linksy Router is connected to) , and when I try to connect with my linksy router (which used to show 5 bars now only shows 2) it won't connect I type my correct password and it says that it's the wrong password , I'm really confused, how can I fix this?!

Solution

Download and install the latest wireless, chipset and BIOS drivers for the laptop see if that helps. You can also try to do a system restore to an ealier time if that is available. That very often does not help though.
Reboot the router and laptop, see if the connections are back. It sounds like you are not actually connecting ot your router but to another one. Two clues here, your signal is a lot weaker and the password does not work. A. It's further away B. your password would not work on another connection.

Try connecting with the laptop close the router, same room at least.

My laptop is very close to it, and I did reboot both of em, nothing worked. All other devices can connect to the router and have a very strong signal, but my laptop suddenly stopped showing other wifi signals. :/
