So about 3 weeks ago downloaded a program which i thought was for a game but was sadly mistaken. It was a RAT virus. I lost some things on Steam but thankfully got them back. Before i got them back i done a full format and reinstall of windows 7 but i am still a little on edge about whether its gone or not. Will a full reinstall definitely get rid of it?

Yes if you formatted and done a clean install of windows, you shouldn't see that rat anymore!
just be careful when downloading, use trust websites and make sure your using a anti virus.
