I bought this PC about a few months ago.
After a few weeks, I noticed that it would crash if I left it on overnight. These crashes were occasional, and the report in the morning would tell me it was a blue screen.
After catching it one day, the screen read "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION," so I looked in to the problem.
Though, I took my time.
The blue screens got more and more common, happening every night I tried to leave the computer on rather than once or twice a week.

From what I read, I installed all windows updates, checked and installed the most recent graphics card updates, and ran a virus scan in addition to /sfc scannow.

The results did not yield anything.

Problem is, after that, now I get a blue screen with NO message, and it's no longer happening while the computer is idle. Now I get crashes while I'm trying to use it, and it's EVERY time. I'm no longer able to use this computer without it blue screening.

So, currently in safe mode hoping the problem is still fixable...
Here are my last two crash reports if they can shed any light on anything.

dxgkrnl.sys directx is causing one of them

Uninstall Daemontools. This is a known cause of crashes

Your video drivers maybe crashing as well. Disable hardware acceleration

MBAMSwissArmy.sys can also cause this stop error 0x3b. Uninstall malwarebytes then use their clean tool

If this is Win7 does this this use Hybrid gfx. Since theres Intel and Nvidia drivers on this?

Currently, I'm out of safe mode and running in selective startup mode with only windows services, my graphics card, skype, and the realtek audio drivers.

So far no crashes, but I'll look into any conflicts with daemon tools and malwarebytes.

I appreciate the help, thanks for the prompt response.

As for the gfx, I'm not sure if it's hybrid or not. I'm supposed to only be using Nvidia...

I've been running for four hours in selective startup with no crashes.
Probably because malwarebytes and daemon tools are not running currently.

Also, I checked my display drivers and hardware acceleration is off.

I'll give it a day and see if the PC crashes overnight when I leave it on.

And here are two more dumps.

http://www.filedropper.com/bsod_1

The third one occurred after I updated the intel graphics drivers.
The fourth one was whilst I was trying to gather the third dump and post it on here.
I didn't catch the third BSOD, but the fourth one said "nvlddmkm" dot something...

And on top of all this, my Firefox has started crashing as well... The computer is getting more and more unstable and it's extremely frustrating.

C: has 50.4 gigabytes while E: has 1.45 terabytes...

Currently trying to do a clean driver install from Nvidia but the download directly from their site is saying it will take eight hours...
What the hell is going on.

Yet another BSOD.
Firefox crashed while I was trying to type this, too.

I was running selective startup mode with nothing but microsoft processes and it still crashed.

Now I'm back in safe mode with networking...
Something is wrong with Nvidia's site because it's giving me an estimated time of one day until I download the most recent drivers...

I just pulled the rig out and checked the SATA cables, there was no visible damage.
They seemed to be plugged in alright, but I still pulled them all out and swapped a few.

Upon restart the PC reinstalled a whole mess of drivers because of the swap, but the Nvidia graphics drivers did not install, so I'm erasing the whole lot and starting over with them...

Is there anywhere but Nvidia's website to download graphics card drivers? Because I'm not exactly thrilled about waiting five hours for their servers to send me 250mb worth of data...

I ran a few tests with graphically intensive games using just the regular drivers that the device manager installs by default, and I'm still getting good FPS.
Do I really need the NVIDIA drivers?

So before I try sending it in, what are the oldest NVIDIA drivers I can/should try before concluding that the video card/harddrive/motherboard is bad?
The most recent drivers caused a BSOD, but a few weeks ago I wasn't having these issues with the older versions of the drivers, unless you count the occasional system service exception.

Right, I'm using what Windows 7 installed too, but for high end NVIDIA cards it's recommended to use their drivers to get the most out of the hardware.

There are some particularly graphically intensive games that will be coming out soon, and I want to make sure I can use what I bought to its fullest.

I just did a hardware check on my drives, they're all right.

So it's either the video card or the software.
Probably a good idea to send this thing back.
