How to check if a graphics card will fit in a case

Hello, I'm building a custom build for myself for Christmas, and it looks like my dream build so far, but it says they cannot verify if the graphics card will fit in the case. Is there a way to tell? If it doesn't fit right, can I remove drive bays to make it fit?

Thanks in advance, and I hope someone can help!

The Sapphire R9 280X TRI-X has a length of 30.8 cm (308 mm). http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1227&lid=1&pid=2072

The Cougar Pioneer seems like it can only support roughly 30.5 cm (~305 mm). http://youtu.be/5zOk76lDll8?t=9m39s

The HDD isn't removable also. http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/how-do-i-mount-a-fan-here.197760/

If you really like that case then maybe you can bend the drive cage or cut it with a saw if it doesn't fit. ^_^
Otherwise, you should choose a different case or a shorter R9 280X graphics card.
