For my first PC build I have been looking at the following components

I'm willing to pay for the above pc however I would like to know if there are any areas I could cut back on without creating any bottlenecks, I would prefer to keep the GTX 970

Solution
You could get a more basic Z97 board then the z97, that is about the only place you can cut without lowering your cpu to an AMD FX-8350.

That PSU is not that good due to its inferior capacitors. While 600w is right for that GTX-970..that power supply wont stand up to the demand of power hungry gpus. Now it will run fine for a while, the question is just for how long. The CX series is basically only recommended by most on here for office workstations with integrated graphics.
