will running linux bottleneck me, or cause performance drops?

Soooo im going to build my first pc, and dont have the extra money to save yet for windows... so for now ill play minecraft and counterstrike and so on, this is my rig

I5 4690k

Gigabyte gtx 970

Evga g2 850 (ik its overkill but it costs the same as the 750w so meh)

Now the question is, will i loose fps playing on linux

do you have a budget?we may still be able to sqeeze windows 8 in it!
