You can only do that if you created a set of factory recovery discs when your PC had the original OS on it, or if you created a hard disk image when your PC had the original OS on it.
If you did neither of those things, contact your laptop or PC manufacturer and ask them if they can send you a set of factory recovery discs for your model, but be aware that it's age will affect whether or not a set of recovery discs can be supplied.
