Hey guys, so im building a 1000$ gaming pc and heres the build:

Hardrive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Graphics Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Im using a tv as a monitor (HDMI Connection) and I am planning to install windows 8.1 on this build.
At the bottom of the PC part picker page, it says "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs." Does this mean I have to change my motherboard? or am I fine.
Im also looking for good prices for the parts. So is there anywhere in particular that gives good deals such as black friday deals? Thank you

Solution
The build's great but here are some things I'd change:
1, I'd get a Z97 board as you might need a BIOS update with an older CPU before using the 4690K, one I'd recommend is the Asus Z97-AR, which goes for 99.99$ at Micro Center after bundle discounts
2, I'd get one kit of 2x4 GB and put the money towards an SSD, a better case or PSU.
3, The PSU is a Tier 3 unit, I'd get a quality XFX 550 watt unit.
4, You might want a CPU cooler

All in all, this would be better and have more bang for your buck:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Micro Center)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler...

Ok thanks man for the quick reply. I looked at your modified build and i liked the new MOBO. Im not really considering lowering my RAM since I will be doing some video editing also on this pc and will need that 16 gb of ram. In that case ill ditch the ssd. Also, is the case large enough for all the components and graphics card? Is there anywhere offering good black friday deals?

Yes, the motherboard is of very good quality.
As for the RAM, if you're doing some light to medium editing, it's not worth it to drop the SSD as SSDs offer many benefits.
The case is very big, and the GPU should have no problem fitting in there.
Newegg has some Black Friday deals, but not significant enough to save large amounts of money.
