Hi gamers. Could you tell me what is going on with my pc? Or maybe can you tell me if is its performance okay?

I am getting low FPS in games like Crysis 3 (25-35) or Far Cry 3 (30-47), though we can say that in FC3 maybe the FPS are okay. I play with max settings, except for the AA, which is disabled.

My PC:

ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0
AMD FX-8350
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) 1600 MHz
Corsair Cooler H100i
WD Blue 1 TB WD10EZEX
Sapphire Radeon R9 270 2GB Dual-X
Corsair PSU AX 760W
Asus 2ms 24'' 1080p

All drivers updated including bios. Tems are fine (CPU 40° and GPU 60-64°). While gaming CPU usage is 40-50% and GPU usage is 99%. No OC. CPU and PSU voltages are fine, default bios.

What do you guys think? Thank you.

Solution

every chip is different, its like a lottery.. sometimes you get a good gpu sometimes you get a below average performer.... this also applies to cpu

this phenomenon is termed as "the silicon lottery"
farcry 3 is a heavy game... i have a 280x and i get 40fps on Ultra more or less

your system is fine.... if you really want higher fps then i suggest gpu oc since you are 65c on load... oc it till its 75c max ..you might get some better fps out of it

Thank you. My question is because there are people in YouTube with the same CPU and GPU playing with better FPS than me.

I was thinking about it, allthough it'll only give me like 3 more FPS.

go to catalyst control center and go to graphics overdrive and crank up the the slider as much as you want than click apply and hit test custom clocks if it says passed than your good (check the little box on top of the core clock before doing this).
