HI,

Bought new ps that has modular connectors. Bought Solidgear G5 gaming case, which has 3 fans: 1 at back and 2 in front.

The 2 in front fans with 3-pin connectors were joined to a splitter(?) that has at its end a 4-pin(?) connector (Red-empty-empty-Black). I do not see a way of connecting the front panel fans, and I presume that the back fan is just plugged into a modular plug.

Question: Is this ps correct or should I return it for another one that will allow me to connect the fans?

Solution
It sounds like you are describing an add-on Molex to 3 pin splitter/adapter. The Molex will fit any Molex from the PSU. The reason there are only 2 pins wired in the connector, is because the fans only need +12V and ground to run full speed.
It the splitter/adapter is removable, you can remove it and plug the 3 pin fan connectors into appropriate headers on the motherboard. Then you may have speed control in BIOS.
No, you do not need to return anything.
