My last mother bored got fried by voltage spikes since I did not have a voltage regulator. Can anyone suggest a new motherboard that will work with those components in the hundred dollar range?

M5a97 only offer 4+2 VRM so i would not recommend on a 8-core CPU, only a M5a97 Evo would be enough with 6+2
