Ok so I have a Asus m5a99x evo r1 not r2!!! And I have been running a fx 8320 @3.7ghz turbo for 2 years and it works great. I am looking at upgrading but my motherboard is starting to become dated. Will it run a fx 9590 and be stable? Just wondering if I can save money and keep my motherboard or if I should just wait awhile longer and save for a whole New mobo and cpu.

You can easily OC your 8320 to a speed similar to 8350. no reason to buy a new CPU.
Buy a new GPU later on buy an CPU.
If you dont have good quality PSU look here:

I have Seasonic M12II EVO 620W. Its very good PSU. Fully modular and its not expensive.
