i was taking out my mobo to put it in my new pc case and the 24 pin connector is so hard to remove. i was afraid if damaging my mobo when removing it cause of how much force i had to apply. do you think i somehow hurt my motherboard everytime i remove it or its made to take that force in that area? im worried cause i just bought my mobo 2 months ago its aasus z97-ar and i would hate repairing or buying it again too soon

just be careful, try to wiggle it side to side as you remove it.

also, another option, is to get a 24pin extension cable.
the idea is this, if possible take your cpu with you (or your board but that would require removing the board itself), take it to the store where you would buy a 24pin extension. with your 24pin removed, try out the extention, hoping you'll find one that removes easier. if so, buy it and use it. although, if you are not doing this too often, it should not be an issue.

or try to loosen it up after you removed it, maybe it will fit better

i am just worried that everytime i remove the 24 pin connector when its difficult to remove i will somehow bend or damage the board or hurt the 24 pin socket and rip it off.. does removing it damage it or hurt it somehow? i ordered that 24 extension so i wont worry no more
