Hi Guys ,

I am having a nightmare of a situation when my newly assembled pc with parts :

I7 5960X
CRUCIAL DDR4 2400 MHZ 64GB RAM
GTX TITAN BLACK
ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME ROG EDITION

My problem is that the bios is not detecting all the 64 gb of ram. It only detects around only 50Gb and sometimes it even gives an error '6F' on boot. The OS detects only 32gb even though 64gb was inserted and CPUZ detects 64GB. I am not sure what exactly is the problem. The Crucial customer service did mention that it is compatible with motherboard. My problem is that I am not very sure if it is a RAM issue or a motherboard issue. We did try to tweak the voltages of CPU and RAM but to no avail. Has anybody encountered this sort of an error ever ?

Please help as an urgent project needs to be rendered by this system and still not have figured out the problem.

Regards,
Sachin

I have mildly bumped it but I was not sure of the threshold. The issue persisted even with the higher voltage .Is there a particular voltage ?

Hi Guys ,

We have finally resolved the issue.A single ram stick of CRUCIAL DDR4 2400 was causing the problem .Once we removed that , system is doing great.Running on 56GB ram now. :)

Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Regards,
Sachin
