From my research, it shows that 2560x1440 is the best ratio for 27". I'm settled to get 27" now..

you previously recommended QNIX...lol QNIX do have some low decent price monitors with a lot of positive reviews.
QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution II Multi TRUE10 SE Monitor - 2560x1440 Overclockable
This one you recommended.
What are the main things i should look for when i purchase a 27 " 2560x1440 monitor? i could go to Micro Center and check some out.

BTW, i'll be getting GTX 970 superclock (?) GPU

i linked you QNIX to you first just to show you the prices.... i didnt tell you to buy it ...dont buy QNIX.. and displays cant be overclocked ..thts bs

main things you should look is
1 sharp display panel
2 high contrast ratio
3 low gtg response time (1ms to 5ms)
4 build quality
5 brand..it should be well known and vouched for

GTX 970 superclock is a good gpu..i approve

PS: i saw your list again... dont buy that cooler....cm gemini m4.... buy this

i'm reading very good reviews about that fan. But people are saying that the fan noise is loud..which i hate..

it is the most recomended cooler in the tech community... you should trust toms hardware more than the reviews lol

you can control the fan speeds if you want.. its a pwm fan..

I ordered most of my parts now including the cooler.
Iwant to get the 27" monitor with 2k resolution.. the only brands i found in my budget are benq, crossover and qnix.. under $400..
What do you think?
Crossover has the response time of 6m..

Sorry i didnt mention previously. Im not planning to get a wide screen.
i went to microcenter today. This is what they offered me.
Lg 27mp35-b
Its 27". I might step back from the resolution i wanted..

Someone from google search said that 1920x1080 reslution is useless horrible for 27".. is this correct?
27" should be worked with 2560x1440..

i play on a 1920x1080p 50" monitor from 10ft away... it looks beautiful

if you buy a 1080p res monitor with huge screen size.. maintain some distance untill you cannot makeout any pixels... it will look great

Lg 27mp35-b is decent.. specs are fine..

Its going to be used on a limited desk space for rendering.so ill be relatively close to the monitor.
i think i found better ones! What do you think?
Benq GW 2765HT 27"
Asus PB 278Q 27"
Both are 2560x 1440

i reviewed thoes exact monitors for another questioner..

they are exactly the same.. the only difference is the brand..

i personaly would buy asus just because their manufacturing quality is better
