Which is most efficient X99 board?

It's probably not one of the first things to consider when buying a highend X99 board, but I'm still curious which one out there is the most efficient and can save me money for the long run. Can anyone help?

I doubt that efficiency among all the X99 boards will differ by enough to even measure.
Power usage or overclocking limits will not be significantly different.
Base your selection on other factors.
What is your proposed build, and what will it mainly be used for?

Test results from Tom’s Hardware show that X99 Extreme4 is by far the most power efficient motherboard (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-x99-haswell-e-overclocking,3934-15.html). The 12 power phase design makes their power consumption significantly lower, while this also benefits by having a relatively lower temperature.

The thing is I'm planning to use a 5820 with DDR4 2666 RAM and a couple of VGA cards, for gaming mostly...so I'm thinking it needs to be efficient otherwise I'm going to run up the electric bill in no time...

Save the money wasted on X99 board and DDR4 RAM (for a gaming rig), and get just a Z97 based rig.....; performance is likely better, and you will have saved enough to afford your 2nd GTX980.....
