I need a new gaming/rendering PC. So, even though I could probably put a decent parts list together myself, I'd rather ask you all for maybe some diversity to what I was debating on. $750-$900 Budget. - Rendering and Gaming

  • Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals would be awesome.
I have the capability to build my own PC.
I would like at least 16GB RAM and at least 1TB hard drive.
If the 16GB RAM is to expensive, then at least 12GB. Since i'll be using this PC to render.
I have an OS, and a 600GB Hard drive from my current computer.
I have a CD-ROM from my current computer.
This is what I am asking for, so hopefully you all can help me out and find the cheapest components available.
Final Question:
Will this case work with what you guys recommend, or do I need a new larger one:

Thank-you for your help. Any advice for anything would always be great.

This should be good for gaming/rendering.

Do you have any interest in SLI or overclocking?

I do not have a interest in SLI or overclocking at the moment. How much performance would I loose if I dropped the Graphics card down to something like the GTX 770. Or possible the R9 290 which is currently on sale at around $270?
Also, do you know if my current case would work with all these parts?

This should give you a good idea of the performance difference. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-970-maxwell,3941-8.html

If you want to save money without compromising performance, and since you have no interest in SLI or overclocking, this alternate list will save you $60 and still get the same performance.

And yes, your current case should be fine for this build.

Do you want another HDD in addition to your 600 GB one?
