Hello I was wondering if my MOBO (http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=522) Could handle the newer 8 core FX CPU's. I keep reading the page I linked (it's my MOBO), and I think I keep reading it wrong, I do not know if it can handle newer 8 CORE FX cpu's as I just upgraded to the GTX 970 and I wanted a newer CPU.

I have a AMD x6 1090t 3.2ghz (3.4ghz OC) CPU at the moment.

That is the CPU I was thinking about or something around there, any recommendations for gaming would be nice.

Thanks.

Sorry if I come off as rude, but did you not look at the CPU support tab on that page? If you had, you would know that it does not support FX cpu's, as it is not on the list. FX would be a waste of money over what you have anyway.

No. Your board has the older AM3 socket. The newer FX-xxxx processors require a MB with the AM3+ socket.
You have nearly the fastest processor available for that socket now. For gaming, the Phenom II X4 970 or 980 might be a minor improvement, but not worth the expense as they are now obsolete too and demand a premium price used. If fact, your 6 core is getting a pretty good price right now on ebay.
