1tb HDD and 256GB SSD Or 2tb HDD and 120GB SSD?

Solution
Personally I'd go with the 256Gb SSD. I had a 120 in my laptop and I was surprised how fast it got full just from the OS and programs.

Plus the 256 will have a noticeable performance advantage as it will likely have more NAND chips to stripe the data to.

Definitely 256GB SSD, this is the sweet spot for SSDs that gets you the most storage space for your money (and they're faster than the smaller drives).

As to hard drive size, you know your game and media storage requirements better than we do. Will 1TB be enough, or will you need more room?

I would get the 256 GB then evaluate in the future. My Acer I bought around 4 years ago I added a 120 GB SSD (DRIVE BAY!) with the 750 GB HD that I moved to DRIVE BAY 2. I then moved to a 240 GB SSD when I had about 100 GB on the SSD. The I actually increases the 750 GB to a 1TB HD.
