The price of the memory and case is not coming up, so that's actually a ~$550 build. If that's alright with you, an FX-6300 + R9 280 is a combination that will be suitable for conservative performance goals with very high visual quality goals. You'll be able to play modern games at 30-50FPS with ultra settings at 1080P.

How about an i3 with a 760? Much, much more powerful GPU. You can also get an R9 280 for the same price which is generally more powerful than the 760 but I'm not sure if you you have your heart set on Nvidia?

That looks good. PCPartPicker is having some issues with connecting to newegg for some reason. I'll see if it comes back up in the next 12 hrs or so. That is a really good deal on that GPU.
