I know quite a bit about liquid cooling, but I have never done it before. I have picked out all of the pieces that I need and I'm pretty much ready to order- but I want some kick ass lights, especially for how much I'm paying. I'm staying away from color liquid because I have seen lots of negative feedback on that. My question is, how can I make the tubing light up? I'm specifically trying to make it green. Is there a name for this piece?

Another way is to mod an led into a blanking plug and that will light up your res, obviously youll need a spare outlet for that and not all resses have them, you could also do it the old T-line way and have light halfway through your tubing, I think Xspc do the led plugs now though so you may be able to buy inatead of modding, I prefer modding tho

My suggestion would be to use a uv reactive dye in green added to the coolant. Then use a uv light tucked out of the way that will cause the 'glow' effect. About the only graceful way I know of doing it. Otherwise you'll have some sort of lights right on the tubes themselves trying to shine through and I can't see that being a graceful solution at all.
