Screwed After BIOS Update

I added 4x2GB DDR2 667 MHz RAM on an old computer. Since computer didn't recognize it, I decided to update the BIOS, and afterwards, it recognized the RAM. Foolishly, I updated using the @BIOS utility. Afterwards, I've been having BSoDs with 0x24 (which I'm assuming has to do with the HDD). However, chkdsk at the time couldn't find any faults. I did a memtest, and nothing was wrong with the RAM. Today, it just started to loop from BIOS, to POST, to Start Windows, back to BIOS. I added the old RAM back in the PC, and it's still the same. I tried clearing CMOS, but it seems like nothing changed, other than the time. I reflashed the BIOS with Q-Flash, to no avail. I'd just like some help. Thanks in advance.

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo
GIGABYTE GA-965GM-S2 (rev. 2.0)
4X2 DDR2 667 MHz RAM (previously 2x1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM)
2 HDDs
300W PSU
GT 430

That's what I'd like, but my dad refuses to buy a newer PC. If anything, I'm the only person in the house with a DDR3 motherboard.
