Hello everyone,

I Currently have a Maximus VI Formula MB and I'm having issues with optimizing my system. When I first built my system I tried to set the Bios to performance mode but would get the BSOD. so, I left my system in normal mode. Just yesterday, I tried using ASUS's 4-way optimization to try to get the most out of my system. Like the beginning when I put stress on my system I get the BSOD ie BF4 or intelBurn.

I have read some forums where they recommend a Bios update. Sure enough my bios is a few version behind and the EZupdater is not finding any of the newer versions. Next step to update the bios was Flashing. Also in the EZ update section of the ASUS AI suite 3 there is a section titled "manually update boot logo or BIOS" and "select a downloaded Bios file then click "myLogo" or "Bios update"
Im thinking that this is a feature to download without flashing but i cant find anything on this via internet or manual. also I looked into it and I cant find the files to update in this feature.

So I downloaded and unzipped the newest version of my Bios per the manual. I put it on an external hard drive, went into the Bios and tried to find the folder. I found the folder and some files but none of the files look like the right ones. I'm thinking i don't have the needed files in the FAT32 format and i don't know how to find out how to get them there or see if they are already in that format Now I'm at a stand still trying to find out how to get this to work plus i don't want to end up with a brick :).

Im new to most of this so if you do have any instructions keep that in mind, thanks.

System:
intel core i5-4670K 3.40GHz
Rip jaw 2x 4GB
Windows 8.1 64bit
GTX 780ti
ASUS Maximus VI Formula

yes, I understand that and I previously stated that I could not find the info I needed in the manual. I just talked about the feature in the ASUS program because it was one of the steps recommend in the manual. I also stated that i was past the last step you recommended.
