Just purchase and installed Noctua F12's, should they always run at full speed?

Basically title, I am curious how running at maximum RPM will effect the life-span of the fans, although I have noticed a HUGE improvement over my old H100i stock fans in terms of noise (I can actually hear my cat coming up to me now, it's amazing).

Thank you to everyone here! This is an amazing community, and I don't know what I would do without you <3

Hey! So they shouldn't be running at full speed ALL the time, maybe only when doing gaming or rendering and while overclocking. I suggest getting something like Speedfan. You can also adjust the setting in the bbios. There should be a setting that shows fan speed with silent, low, normal and off settings. These might work for you but you won't be able to adjust it while in game. Other programs have the ability to sense when the cpu temp rises, and they respond by putting the fan speed higher.
