Quick question guys.
I just got a replacement fan for my Noctua cooler. The fan is a 140mm PWM one. Every time I turn on the PC it says fan error. I look in the BIOS and the fan speed is in red and its only running at 300 or so RPM. I assume the low RPM is why my Mobo is giving the error.
However. I can get into windows and the CPU isn't overheating. It sits at around 21 degrees. I ran Prime 95 for a bit to stress the CPU and it gets it to about 45 degrees and the CPU fan only goes up to around 900 rpm.
Is this normal?
and if it is, is there any way I can stop it from doing the CPU fan Error message every time I boot up?
