Do you think the GTX 970 price will drop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Hello, I've been looking into getting either an Asus Strix 970, or an MSI 4G Gaming 970. The GPU keeps going in stock, and out of stock, and in in stock 5 days later on Amazon, and im afraid that either the prices wont drop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, or it will be out of stock. i can already confirm that the MSI 970 wont be available on amazon, on Black Friday or Cyber Monday on Amazon, since Amazon said it will be back in stock on Dcember 3rd, but what do you guys think about the Strix 970? Should I wait or buy it today or tomorrow?

Solution
They likely wont be discounted. They are selling so well that it would be an economically poor decision to discount them.

The Strix is a good card, if you can find it or the MSI in stock, grab one.

Zotac and 1 other launched at around $329.99, that price has been the same for 3 weeks now. The 970 is just to new of a card to see huge dips like you will with all the other Gpus under it, don't expect anything more than a $10 to $20 sale. Everyone is milking profit from the 970 and 980 and will until the demand starts to drop a little.

i agree. there is one giving a 10 rebate so far and we may see a couple others as the holidays come through. right now $350 gets you a great card I would not expect us to see any of these to hit $300 this holiday, but you never know and prices are not going up.
