Approximate Purchase Date: this week/weekend Black Friday

Budget Range: 2000.00

System Usage from Most to Least Important: General Office, Light Photo editing, photo & paper scanning, gaming when nephews are unsupervised.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, 2560x1440, 27"

Parts to Upgrade: Cloning my 1st build of a year ago (very pleased with results), for another family member & my use

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, Win 7 Premium

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: non partisan

Location: Menlo Park California, USA

Parts Preferences: n/a

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Not anytime soon

Your Monitor Resolution: using Asus 27" PB278Q and have no problem with PWM, may go with Dell U2713H for other users eyes.

Additional Comments: Dual SSD to have prime SSD for OS & main SW (boot), secondary for image of prime, Dual HD for
data files, and backup of same data files plus OS.

Odd memory choice because I have one RipJaws 4 GB stick as a left over (NewEgg gift) from my 1st build and I am not sure
if this item PN from a year ago (F3-14900CL9S-4GBXL) with unknown revision (has "2013" and "720" on a sticker) is compatible
with my ordering another 4 GB stick. May just go with the Muskin sticks and try to find some other use for the Ripjaws stick.

Solution
Image the boot drive to a regular hard drive . No point using an SSD you wont be imaging in real time , and you probably wont access it often at all
Not sure why you want a green drive and a another drive as well

Buy the RAM as a dual channel kit . If you want 16 gig of RAM then a 2 x8 gig kit is the best way
