Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)

Solution
It may 'work', though at a lower freq, the Athlon II CPUs are rated up to 1333 (with 2 sticks and if it's an X3 or X4 model, the X2 Athlons are rated up to 1066), it's more the CPU, specifically the MC (memory controller) of the CPU that determines what freq DRAM you can run the 965 rev C3 was the first AMD CPU that could reliably run 1600 sticks
THIS 8GB (2x4GB) kit is on the list for sure.

Memory doesn't have to be on the list to work, however there's more of a guarantee that it will. I suggest you do it in sticks of TWO. I wasn't sure if you were installing 4GB or 8GB total. I couldn't find any 2x2GB kits that matched exactly.

With the PRICE of a comparable 2x2GB kit being about $53 the 8GB kit is only $20 more so hard to recommend.

Summary:
I'd recommend the 8GB (2x4GB) kit. It's $73 USD and only $20 more than a similar 2x2GB kit.
