Then i restarted my pc and it says recovering drive f:// and when it reaches 100% , the pc restarted again . When i reached the menu where u get to pick the os to load , i pick my os (window 8) and it loads for a bit and then black screen.... Hey CycoDude. I'd suggest that you boot your computer again with the Windows 7 HDD (if you say it works) and then try it with each of the drives separately to see which one's causing the problem. You could also try connecting the drives externally to see if you can get your data back and then run the manufacturer's diagnostic tool to see if there's something wrong with the drive itself or if it's because of something else. You could also run "chkdsk" if you manage to connect the drive externally to see if that fixes the issue. Also I'd recommend that you scan the drive with your anti-virus program, because there might be a virus or malware which might have corrupted some of your data and thus force the drive to behave this way.

Hope...
