Hi all, I have an oldish motherboard (P4 with hyperthreading 3Ghz) that I am putting together it has 3x slots on the mobo for the ddr2 memory, the sticks im using are 3x 512mb pc3200 same manufactured type - when I use all 3 banks I get an error from the 3rd bank as seen in memtest 86+ and part of the error is that memtest 86+ sees all the ram as 333Mhz and not at 400Mhz, the 3rd bank also has some weird hexadecimal code instead of the word "A2", I have tested all the sticks separately with memtest 86+ for two passes with no errors. When I use all 3 banks the system only sees 1gig of ram and not 1.5gig, because of the hexadecimal characters would anyone recommend a reflash of the bios to fix this? or is the mobo screwed?
