I built my own PC yesterday everything is fine just one problem . When i connect the monitor cable to graphic card (DVI or HDMI ) it says no signal . However if i connect monitor to motherboard port VGA / HDMI / DVI it works fine . Harddisk is new and fresh windows . device manager shows only Intel integrated graphic card . When i connected my old Gigabyte GTX 650 to the new rig it boots fine . But when i connected the new MSI GTX 970 to OLD PC it shows message on monitor to plug different cable BUT IT shows the message on monitor so thats the problem i think i cant seem to find it running on new PC . PC specs are :
MB - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3
PCU - Intel Core i5 - 4690k
GPU - MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
RAM - Kingston 8GB kit DDR3 1600MHz CL10 HyperX Fury Blue Series
Power Suply - EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2

May it be the problem with bios setting ? Or is it problem with GPU or MB ? Did anybody encounter something like that ?

BTW BTW BTW ----> The graphic card LEDs light up in new PC no problem so there is no problem with power i suppose

Thanks for anwsering

Solution

Not yet i haven't installed anything yet . May the be the problem ? That the other graphic card GTX 650 (gigabyte) doesnt need any drivers ?

All cards need drivers.
To avoid conflicts:

First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

i got this card yesterday and went in circles for an hour as i had only connected the one 6pin cable supplied with the card = so i tried the 8 and 6 pin i already had spare and same thing the card powered up = i think the price you pay for cards they could throw in a couple of cables
