Please help with BSOD error 0x00000124

Im getting BSOD for quite long time ago 1-2 in day i have been studying that error 124 is caused usually by overclocking your CPU, but i have been never overclocking mines. Can somebody help me with my problem? cause its annoying when your computer restart at least once every day without reason. IT occurs not only while gaming, but also in idle state when im scrolling facebook, or just typing in word. (I dont think its heat related)

my configuration -
CPU - AMD Phenom x6 1100t 3.3 Ghz
Graphic card - Asus Nvidia GTX 570 direct CUII
Motherboard - Asus M4A87TD_EVO
Ram - 2x 2gb kingstone 1300 Mhz
- 2x 4gb kinstone 1600 Mhz

Is the system stable with only 2 memory modules? Have you tested the memory with Memtest86+ (several passes) and Windows memory tests? What PSU do you have?

Try using only the 2x4gb 1600Mhz of RAM and see if you still get the error

Run the Windows memory tests, but if it fails with 2 modules, then the issue probably is the CPU or motherboard. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows7/diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer Is the CPU overheating?

What do you mean by overheating ... in stress my cpu temps are never more than 60°C. with graphics its never more than 75°C so i dont think its overhearing since air flow in my case is as best as i can do

You are getting a bug check caused by a hardware fault. You tested with 2 memory modules and still had the issue, but have you tried using the other pair? The goal is to determine everything else is OK before replacing the CPU.

Bug_Check 124 is a Fatal Hardware Error

This is usually heat related, defective hardware, memory or even processor though it is "possible"
that it is driver related (rare). Remove ALL power and reseat all cards, memory and cables (on
both ends) - actually remove and replace - do not just snug. Make sure the system has adequate
ventilation - add a small fan blowing into intakes. Carefully inspect the motherboard and other
cards for damage. Pay attention to the fatal hardware error implication.

Try to update your BIOS and all the other drivers

i modified some fan's speeds and for now it seems to be okay ... i hope it will not appear again, thanks guys for helping
