Hey all.

This should be a simple question to answer, not sure why I cannot find a solution searching the web.

I am helping someone with Outlook 2010. Their pst is 49GB; my goal is to split it.

I made a new pst and told Outlook to archive everything before July 4 (2014).

I intend to split it further into two sections based on 2012-2013, 2013-July 4 2014.

My question...when archiving to the new pst file, is there a progress bar? Or some way for Outlook to tell me the archiving process is complete?

I checked the Outlook files folder and I can see my new pst getting bigger, but other than that there seems to be no indication of the progress of archiving.

Thanks in advance all

Haha wow. Sorry all; I did not sleep last night. Two extra minutes of looking through Outlook and I found the solution.

Solution, towards the bottom right, there is a mini progress bar that details the Archiving process.

It is located where your exchange connection status/send+receive status is found.
