Yes.
It's hard to be specific since your ambient room temperature and case cooling also factors in. Nor do we even know how you have fan control setup through the motherboard software (many CPU cooler tests just run at full speed).
Keep in mind the CPU doesn't even throttle until almost 105degC and 77C is not only way below that but also a stress test which you'd never get too in the real world. The closest you'd get would be converting video otherwise in games it's likely to be in the 60's at most.
*Having said that, if you prefer a QUIETER cooler the Noctua NH-U12S is probably the perfect choice. The CM Hyper 212 EVO is much cheaper but also louder, so sits between stock and the Noctua in terms of noise.
The stock fan does get a bit annoying under load.
