I'm most likely going to get an i7-4790k (on sale for $299.99) but was wondering what performance I would get from this. I only really need 40-80FPS on maxed out settings for triple-A games like FC4, ACU, GTAV, etc.
Is it worth it to upgrade my GPU from my R9 270x to a GTX 770/970?
How much of a difference would I see upgrading from my current FX-6300(Stock)?
Also just a side question but is it okay for me to overclock an i7-4790k with a stock cooler on a ASUS H87-Plus board?
