I was just listening music which were saved in my flash drive..all of sudden it stopped and when I look my flash drive all my files were gone. WHenever I tried to insert my flash drive in different laptop or in my laptop it doesnt show my flash drive size and when I tried to format it, it shown there is no disk in drive E. When I tried to open it, it says "Please insert disk". I tried many options that google offers, but all failed.Please help me. I need to recover my files, all my files are important.
my flash drive was read on my computer but when I clicked on it please insert disk was shown.

The flash drive it self is not being read by your OS. Do you have Windows or Mac? If it's Windows, there is a different type of file formatting on it than Mac. Also if you want to format your data, DON'T. That REMOVES all your data. Don't even try that unless you're sure you have backups somewhere
