Recently I came across this small office where they've three server machines each of them getting network through Ethernet cable that goes to the Ethernet wall socket...& they've around 40 client computers using windows multipoint server premium 2012...All these client computers have ''Plugable USB 2.0 Docking Client'' at the back of the monitor & the cable connecting that docking client goes to the server machine's usb port...Now what I don't understand is how are these client computers receiving network??? I think it's becoz of server machine & windows multipoint server premium 2012....Am I right? I mean normally server have their own operating system like Windows Server 2012, isn't it? & Client computers have Windows 7 or 8 OS installed In their system, isn't it? & I think in that case each client computers have to use Ethernet cable in order to get network ,isn't it? BUT in this case where they're using windows multipoint server premium 2012 & only server machines are connected through Ethernet cable I don't know exactly what's going on...Other end of those connected ethernet cables are plugged in to the Ethernet wall socket....So what cable might be used here inside that Ethernet wall socket so that cable connects to router or switch?
I've done CCNA & I do have knowledge about networks & little bit about cables(mainly Ethernet) but practically I've not done cabling so I'm still learning....Plzzz help me about this small office's connection & cabling as well...
Thnx

Those things are basically KVMs the only thing they do is provide keyboard/mouse/monitor connections to the server that is connected to the network.
