I just built my first gaming pc around a week ago but lately, asin the past 2 days, my pc will crash when i have a game open for less than a minute or if i am on the internet it will crash.... and when i say crash it completely turns off, as if someone just unplugged the power cord from the wall... I just reapplied thermal paste and it still crashes... I looked at the cpu as it crashed and it was only at 43'C so it mustn't be the cpu... but idk, i'm not a tech guru... I need help so any advice would help! Thanks

Solution
If you're not seeing any blue screens prior to the crash, I'd do a couple of things:

First, make sure that the RAM is properly seated.

Second, make sure cables from the power supply are tightly connected to all components, especially the motherboard.

Third, make sure you are using a surge protector. It's cheap and a good investment.

If none of that works, I'd be most worried that you might have a bad power supply.

No problem, just glad you didn't end up having a faulty power supply! Happy computing!
