What number do they want when asking for "order/invoice number"? Do they want the order number, the invoice number, or both separated by a slash?

one or the other depending on how you bought it, normally you would put the number assigned to your purchase by the retailer.

I would simply provide both:

Order Number: XXXXXXXXXXXX
Invoice Number: YYYYYYYYYYYY
