Hey guys.

So, today i recieved my ASUS EEE BOX 1036, which i intended to use for inhouse streaming.
It came with no OS, so i i had to disable PK KEys in order to be able to install my OS, no biggie.
For some reason, the PC has now applied a password to BIOS, which i thought would be no issue whatsoever. More about that in a bit.

I installed windows 8, it tried to boot, but froze in the boot screen (the circly thing, going about)

I shut it down, booted - Same thing.
Third time i started it, it gave me a BSOD with error code 0x000001C and the following options:

Press Enter to try again
Press F8 for STartup Setings
Press ESC for UEFI Firmware Settings.

Pressin F8 gives me a bucn of options like "Enable Debugging" "Enable Bootlogging" etc. but no repair options.

And since BIOS automatically set a password i can't even reformat it.
So basically i have a brand new EEE Box 1036, which i can't use for anything.

DOes anyone have ANY advice on how to fix this??

KInd Regards

Okay. Sorry for double post!

I can now get one step further (Getting devices ready and stuff) by typing "/MININT" in boot options.

PC is still at fault, as it gets stuck in the windows boot screen (THe circly thingie) still.
Anyone has an ideas?

UPDATE:

I tried to fix the bootloader by following this post:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/wont-boot-unless-i-use-edit-boot-options-f10-at/1bc8b9e8-dca6-491d-b5ee-06639ffdcbef

I am now met by a screen that says: "The boot configuration data file doesn't contain valid information for an operating system" - I have no options to repair. The only option i have is to "Press ESC to enter UEFI" which is,well.. In the BIOS which i can't access. So that sucks.

Still no takers out there? Some help would be VERY appriciated D:
