I have a ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO mobo with AMD Phenom 555.
I need memory and I am thinking in a Kingston Hyperx Genesis 4 GB ddr3 1866 Mhz stick.
Will it work?

Solution
the processor still will take the profile off the ram, but it simply will just underclock the speed if the ram is to fast. Just get the 1866 that is CL9 then you can always carry it to another build when you chose to upgrade. G.Skill I have found will work with just about any processor that takes ddr3, just make sure you get the sniper, ripjaws, or really any others from them. I personally just upgraded the motherboard processor and ram in my rig so I could use ddr4 because what I do benefited a lot from it.

Ok, but, the CPU and mobo can't handle that memory at full speed or not work at all and the computer not run.
I ask this question because I get little difference in price between 1333 and 1866 MHZ and I see that the fastest memory serves me for a later upgrade.
Thanks for your advise.
