Hi,

The issue
Today after experiencing a BSOD with following error:
Kernal_data_inpage_error
My laptop rebooted followed by it installing a windows update.
After booting up a game, which i had played just fine before on the same day, it now played with low fps, upon inspecting my device manager my Nvidia card was not present anymore in the list.

What i tried so far
I have tried a system restore to fix the error, did not work.

My Question
Did the Nvidia card die? or could it have slipped out of its PCI socket inside the laptop? Or is this a BIOS error of some sorts?

Any help is apreciated.
Thanks

If i need to provide additional info or screenshots please notify me.

UPDATE
After putting my computer to rest for the night i booted it back up and has now rediscovered my GT650M, However it is giving error 43 meaning windows is saying the driver or hardware failed. Will now attempt to reinstall the driver.

my system:
Dell inspiron
i7-3630QM
intel HD4000
Nvidia GT650M
8GB RAM
Windows 8.1 (x64)
