MINECRAFT sudden 20FPS drop every couple of seconds! HIGH END PC!

Hey guys, I know the caps in the title may be a bit overkill but this is an issue that is really annoying me. Would like to say that all gpu, cpu and mobo drivers are up to date.

My problem is that, after loading mc with a steady 100+fps, I'll start to move and sprint around and then every 5 or so seconds the fps will jolt down to 80. Although not rendering the game useless, it just seems stupid that it would do this seeming that I can run BF3+4 fairly comfortably. It's more irritating than anything else.

AMD FX-8320
8gb HYPER X 1866 RAM
R9 280 GPU

Help please anyone XD

If you download minecraft optifine ultra Theres a tab you can click, it shows up as "Default" click it then i'll goto "smooth' then click it once again it'll say "multi-core"

Tell me all your minecraft settings, did you try turning v-sync off? Maybe you can download a mod called "optifine" and turn on "multicore" in the settings (Multicore will help your computer if it has more then 2 core it will fully utilize most cores)

Yea I've been playing minecraft for a couple years on my old laptop so I understand how it works, I'll give it a shot but I dont think it will stop the frame rate jumps. I've done a fresh re install and allocated some more ram but the problem still occurs. Where can I access multicore?
