so i have both chrome and firefox and even internet explorer because i never got rid of it.

the problem i'm having is random lag... or slow loading

and what i mean by that is when i load up a page say... like 3minutes ago i was trying to load bestbuy because i need to pick something up and don't wanna wait so i go to best buy and type in the name of the product i'm trying to purchase... it lags... what i mean by lag is it sits there doing it's loading signal where the tab has it's own circle and keeps spinning and spinning and spinning with no result meaning it doesn't go to the page where i want to see the product...

this happens many many times regardless of what site i'm on...

keep in mind i do not have slow internet... matter of fact i have over 120mbs down speed i can stream videos on 4k off youtube easy... with this speed i don't have trouble streaming anything watching anything or whatnot... but i do struggle with this small lag-ish problem... i don't know what it could possibly be but i have a msi gaming 7 mobo idk if it's killer ethernet could be a factor idk just throwing that out there in case that can be a factor...

so i'm confused as to what's going on as i never had this problem before... i run off ethernet now and not wireless...

and this isn't consistent it's on and off so idk...

what shall i do? suggestions and opinions are very well welcome thanks!

Solution
msi gaming 7 has a killer network app where it prioritizes the internet speed amongst apps like browsers and appls in general/ games...

Un-install for now. Re-boot and test again.

haha thanks!

and i actually have malwarebytes and i scan pretty often as i got my build recently so i'm paranoid about everything and wanting to keep it in tip top shape.

i also have advanced system care 7.4-pro which i run as well (not running both together at the same time of course)

so i don't think it's a virus or anything like that

and it's weird because i run on ethernet and my sibling who has a mac and runs on wifi doesn't get the lag experience that i'm getting so i have no clue what it could possibly be.

idk if this matters but i made firefox a "high" priority so i don't think it's that as well...

and something else to note is that it doesn't matter if i have anything running or not..

like i could start everything up on my pc kill apps i'm not using and then open whatever in this case bestbuy and look something up and i'd still get lag...i get the same problem with no difference even while running games... so i really have no clue what it could be... and it's not firefox only because like i said i have the same problem with chrome as well
