ok so I bought this PWM 4-fan splitter, and am going to finish my build tomorrow, here's the page of the splitter: http://www.gelidsolutions.com/products/index.php?lid=2&cid=11&id=63&tab=1

my question is, I thought it was broken at first since it had 4 headers, with only one header that had 4 pins with a label "fan speed signal", and the other three headers had like 2pins beside each other then empty space in the place of a third pin, and then the 4th pin was there, so it only had 3 pins.

I haven't tried it out yet but, just to be sure, I am gonna have 4 120mm fans connected to it, and I want them all to be controlled by the CPU's temps, so should I plug any specific one to that 4 pins header that said "fan speed signal", and shouldn't the other 3 headers have 4 pins as well?

also, about the voltage, it has a molex connector with two wires into it so it's a 7v I guess, is that alright to take advantage of and put all 4 fans into it without any voltage issues? thanks

it actually worked out great since I didn't realize the first time that the power that comes into these fans is from a molex not from the motherboard, because the 4 fan pwm splitter had a molex for power, and a 4 pin to plug into the motherboard cpu fan header to just get the pwm information, I put the two 120mm fans that are configured in push/pull with the cpu cooler in it, and also one top 120mm exhaust fan, couldn't put the second 120mm top fan cuz the radiator in push/pull blocked it :p but I am getting great temps so far, and the fans work all great, and they are all speed controlled depending on the temperature of the cpu it worked great.

here's pics of my build if you are interested :) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/jh2RsY
