Issue:
Hi everyone, I have an issue with my computer. Recently I get the BSOD. It usually says its a hardware issue or a driver problem.
Not only do I get BSOD, but google chrome is constantly giving me the "Oh Snaps" screen where I need to refresh that page multiple times and nothing happens.

Assumptions:
I used to think my ram was going bad, but I replaced it and am still having issues. I check my harddrive and it says it does have errors, but when I switch the harddrive for another one from a different computer I am still having crashes.

Solutions I have tried:
New Ram, Switch Harddrives, Update all drivers, Change video card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because i'm all out of ideas.

Computer parts

AMD phenom II x4 925 processor 2.80GHz
10 GB PNY Ram 1333MHZ & 1066MHz compatible
Geforce 8800 GTS 512mb Nvidia
Toshiba harddrive
MSI - MS7578 motherboard
Windows 7 64bit

Solution
1) For the hard drive try running a

chkdsk /f

in the Command prompt. It will say it can't do it but will do it on restart. Press Y to tell it to do it on restart.

2) If the Ram is showing errors with memtest then test each stick by itself to find which one is bad.

Yes I have made sure I am up to date on all of my drivers.
I ran a repair for my hard-drive and it says it finds errors and they can not be rapaired. But it is also telling me that there are errors in my memory (Ram) when I use Memtest86.
Again though I have tried these tests with different hardware and it has given me the same results.
I have no idea if this is a bios issue, a motherboard issue, ram, hard-drive, or CPU. Since everything i'm reading is giving me the run around.

Originally my games would crash when I was running a 32bit os with one stick of ram.
Recently I updated my OS to 64bit since I upped my memory to 8gb. I did this because I was told that perhaps my old ram was faulty.
