Can someone tell me which components play the greatest role in making a flash game run smoothly? I'm trying to find a way to play a flash-intensive game (Gardens of Time) without it freezing/locking up while loading, or lagging. I'm not tech savvy, so I'm not sure what I need to look into.
I play on Chrome because no matter which computer I use, this game runs slow on Firefox (this is a game I play through FB), So, partly I'm wondering:
1) does add'l RAM improve performance in this type of game
2) would having VRAM have any effect
3) Is processing speed more important? If so, should I be playing this on a SSD?
4) is the video card the key to getting the best gameplay?
I play on 3 diff computers - whichever my kids aren't using. So I may upgrade one or have to buy my own. If I buy one, I want to know which components are most important for this purpose.
Two computers I use now are desktops, both play the game. They have the same specs but one performs better (I don't know why). The 3rd is a laptop and I'm barely able to load the game, so have given up even trying on that one.
Thank you to anyone that can give insight.
