I'm very new to overclocking so i try to oc my gtx 980 by using afterburner.

First i pushed power limit to maximum and core clock +250 memory clock +360 and pushed voltage a bit higher too.

With this oc, when i'm playing Ac: Unity after 30mins game starts to run slower and fps drops appear.

Then i put voltage back to 0 and left everything as they were. Now it has same core clock speed and boost speed.. and i put a different fan curve..

Do you think there will be fps drops after a while gaming?

Do you think increasing voltage could made my gaming unstable?

Update: I change voltage back to default but something weird happens;

After 20 mins fps drops occur and then suddenly game changes settings itself from ultra to high and fps turns back to 60.. Thats so weird. I have a i7 2600 cpu without K do you think it makes bottleneck?
